CESSPIT and US Conference of Catholic Bishops mouthpiece / puppet states:
It is wrong for the [New York] Times, and the media in general, to continue to discuss the “pedophile” problem in the Catholic Church. There never was such a problem—less than 5 percent of accused priests fit the description of a pedophile. …. Failure to tell the truth about this matter stands in the way of corrective action.
Well – what a nice little lecture. Donohue writes as if the abuser’s motivation makes a difference to some poor kid who has been ass fucked. Donohue writes as if the INTERNATIONAL CONSPIRACY TO COVER UP the abuse is modified in some significant way by the fact that only 5% of the kid fuckers were pedophiles – and claims that there never was a problem even while stating that there was a problem!
I must admit that I’ve rarely seen such perverted semantics in the service of twisted logic seeking to lessen the impact of immorality. One usually sees those things coming out of the U.S. Congress or Senate.
I wonder if Donohue’s psychiatry sessions are paid for by his church-provided insurance? Lucky he’s not a woman who needs birth control!
